For an elegant and opulent wedding that took place at the iconic New York Plaza Hotel, we designed an invitation that was as beautiful as it was show-stopping. The suite features luxurious details and finishing from embossed velvet paper to contoured beveled edges, foil stamping and custom envelopes in rich taupes, golds and Bordeaux reds. The design was custom illustrated from a swatch of the bride’s lace wedding dress.
Since we are a studio specializing in custom work, we put together custom pricing for each project. For your convenience, below is a brief summary of the starting prices for both our collection and custom suites:
• $2,000 is the starting price for pre-existing designs for a 4-piece suite in 1-letterpress color. Suites with additional embellishments such as foil stamping, laser cut sleeves, pocket folders, etc. start at a higher price point of $3,000 and up.
• Custom invitations start at $2,750 for a 4-piece suite in 1-letterpress color.
• For budgets in the $1,000 range, many of our designs can be adapted to a economical price point using flat printing.
Note: A 4-piece suite includes Invitation, Reply Card, Outer Envelope and Reply Envelope. However a suite can be customized to your needs. Most pre-existing designs you see, whether it be from our custom page or collection page, can be made into a ready to order set

Sketches
Our initial brainstorming sketches were rendered in pencil and watercolor to start to imagine the possibilities for Lindsey & John’s wedding invitations. We also looked at color swatches, fabrics and materials and how they could come to life in a unique way.
Design Exploratory
We designed different invitations and folders which incorporated elements that we discussed with the couple during our consultation. The invitation needed to live up to the grandeur of the Plaza Hotel so we used many materials and print methods to elevate the design to a new level of luxe.
MONOGRAMS
We then presented the couple with a range of different monograms and crests that were designed to complement the overall design vision. Here is a small sampling with their final crest enlarged on the right.
COLOR STUDY
A thorough look at different color palettes and combinations ensured that we looked at all possibilities, finding the very best of the best for our client’s design.
Lace Motif
The bride showed us a sample of her gown lace which we drew inspiration from and incorporated into a custom lace pattern that was created exclusively for her.
Refinement & Options
Once the look and feel were defined, we embarked on the process of extending the design to all the pieces in the invitation suite from reply card to envelopes.
Production
Once the designs are finalized, we prepare them for printing and production on the computer.
FINAL DESIGN
At the end of the creative process, after all edits and refinements are made, the full suite comes to life in the hands of our expert team of printers and craftsmen.
