For a wedding at the iconic Faena Hotel and Forum, we created an invitation suite that took inspiration from the modern architecture of the venue and blended it with modern Miami style. The invitation combines unorthodox angled calligraphy with punchy watercolor ombré. The invitation and reply card are accented with painted edges in cobalt blue and fuchsia and the entire suite was mailed in a superb envelope that combined die cutting and gold mirror paper.
Since we are a studio specializing in custom work, we put together custom pricing for each project. For your convenience, below is a brief summary of the starting prices for both our collection and custom suites:
• $2,000 is the starting price for pre-existing designs for a 4-piece suite in 1-letterpress color. Suites with additional embellishments such as foil stamping, laser cut sleeves, pocket folders, etc. start at a higher price point of $3,000 and up.
• Custom invitations start at $2,750 for a 4-piece suite in 1-letterpress color.
• For budgets in the $1,000 range, many of our designs can be adapted to a economical price point using flat printing.
Note: A 4-piece suite includes Invitation, Reply Card, Outer Envelope and Reply Envelope. However a suite can be customized to your needs. Most pre-existing designs you see, whether it be from our custom page or collection page, can be made into a ready to order set

Sketches
We started the process by sketching a few different concepts which were heavily inspired by the Faena hotel and forum. We wanted to reinterpret different aspects of the architecture and space in a modern way on paper. We explored watercolor, laser cutting, different print methods and materials to help bring to life the couple’s wedding vision.
Crest Design
The couple loved the look of a crest so we incorporated personal details and animals into an elegant coat of arms that adorned the invitation suite.
Color Study
Once the couple had chosen a design, we experimented with a few different color combinations and options all within the palette of jewel tones.
Design Extension
Once the look and feel were defined, we embarked on the process of extending the design to all the pieces in the invitation suite. We designed the reply cards to feel vibrant and enticing with inspiration taken from other areas of the venue and wedding.
Illustration
We created geometric illustrations and shapes that were inspired by the windows of the Faena Forum. These shapes were then used throughout the suite.
Envelope Design
We designed the envelope for the shapes to be die cut and selectively lined with gold mirror paper. That way the guests could experience the discovery of opening the several layers and revealing the invitation inside.
Final Refinements
After the design work is completed we make all the final refinements on the computer before sending our designs off to production.
Final Design
At the end of the creative process, after all edits and refinements are made, the full suite comes to life in the hands of our expert team of printers and craftsmen.
