This silver and purple ornate wedding invitation was perfect for the couple’s elegant, fairytale wedding at the iconic New York City venue, Cipriani Wall Street. We paired lavender velvet paper with sparkling silver papers and foil stamping for a truly magical effect. The suite features laser cut details alongside letterpress and foil stamping.

Since we are a studio specializing in custom work, we put together custom pricing for each project. For your convenience, below is a brief summary of the starting prices for both our collection and custom suites:

• $2,000 is the starting price for pre-existing designs for a 4-piece suite in 1-letterpress color. Suites with additional embellishments such as foil stamping, laser cut sleeves, pocket folders, etc. start at a higher price point of $3,000 and up.

• Custom invitations start at $2,750 for a 4-piece suite in 1-letterpress color.

• For budgets in the $1,000 range, many of our designs can be adapted to a economical price point using flat printing.

Note: A 4-piece suite includes Invitation, Reply Card, Outer Envelope and Reply Envelope. However a suite can be customized to your needs. Most pre-existing designs you see, whether it be from our custom page or collection page, can be made into a ready to order set

The Details

Sketches

We began the process with some different invitation and sleeve options all centering around the idea of a fairytale wedding in shades of silver and lilac. We also explored alternate ways of showcasing the couple’s crest through the laser cut sleeve.

Custom Crest

The couple loved the look of a crest that incorporated the fairytale theme and a play on the groom’s last name, Wolf. We explored a couple of ways to intertwine their initials to work harmoniously with the crest that features two wolves.

Once we determined the overall direction, we refined the design and incorporated more personal elements throughout the crest.

Design Refinement

Once the look and feel are defined, we embark on the process of extending the design to all the pieces in the invitation suite. For Anya & John, this involved incorporating the ornate flourish design motifs throughout the suite.
