We were thrilled when we were recently invited to participate in a horse meets vineyard styled shoot taking place at Baiting Hollow Farm in New York. One of my favorite sports growing up was horseback riding and I started riding as early as age 7 (showjumping and dressage among other disciplines), well into my late teens so the thought of drawing inspiration from horses was oh so exciting to me! I was even more intrigued when I heard the story of the horses of Baiting Hollow Farm. The Farm is actually a rescue shelter which has saved countless horses from the slaughterhouse by giving them a new home and a second chance. They fund the shelter by selling fantastic wines which are also grown on their vineyard. The most endearing thing I noticed was how they have named all of their wines after the extraordinary rescue horses. How wonderful is that?
This shoot is all about vintage and chic farm meets horses. Headed by the talented photographer Elisabeth Millay, the collaborative team was amazing in bringing every aspect and detail to life! Take a look for yourselves!
