We’re always excited when we encounter two people who are so in love and have put a tremendous amount of thought into their wedding day to ensure their friends and family have a great time. Tara and Jessie did just that and we were so happy to see how their team of wedding vendors came together to bring to life their vision. Everything was in the thoughtful and personalized details. Since Jessie is a mathematician, the escort cards contained equations, which led people to their table, and sparked lots of conversation during cocktail hour. Similarly, Tara who had studied Japanese culture and the arts wanted to incorporate Japanese Maple leaves and trees onto the wedding invitation (a perfect complement to the garden setting in Central Park). We fused the natural foliage with mathematics inspired lattice-work that merged into one another seamlessly.
Our friend and uber talented event designer Tzo Ai Ang of Ang Weddings and Events took up the task of artfully weaving their story throughout all the details from the beautiful Central Park Boathouse space, to the cake by Sugar Flower Cake Shop, the flowers by Lenox Hill Florist and beyond. The special moments were captured by Craig Paulson so the couple can continue to enjoy them for years to come.
