I love gardens and botanical garden inspired weddings so it only seemed natural for my husband Steve and I to tie the knot at the gorgeous Palmhouse at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens in the Spring of 2008. Fast forward years later, we were delighted when our clients Kristen and Nick decided to get married at the same venue! We often feel like we get to experience the weddings of our couples through the work that we create for them but for this wedding, we could honestly say that we really had experienced it firsthand!
Kristen was all about embracing the natural beauty and serenity of the garden and sharing that with her family and guests. So with that we decided to invite all of her guests with a beautiful invitation suite inspired by the botanical elements and foliage of the garden and highlight the unique architecture of the elegant glass Palmhouse. She turned to Merci New York, one of the leaders in luxury bridal styling for her to weave the look and theme into her wardrobe and styling while Karen Zieff of Zieff Photography was there to capture all the special moments.
