For a wedding that was as romantic as it was glamorous, we knew that designing a lace inspired laser cut sleeve and pairing it with rich gold would be the perfect way to make a memorable first impression. The gold lace wedding invitation is printed with luxe letterpress with touches of gold foil and shimmery materials sprinkled throughout. The laser cut sleeve reveals a custom wreath monogram inspired by details of the bride’s dress.

Since we are a studio specializing in custom work, we put together custom pricing for each project. For your convenience, below is a brief summary of the starting prices for both our collection and custom suites:

• $2,500 is the starting price for pre-existing designs for a 4-piece suite in 1-letterpress color. Suites with additional embellishments such as foil stamping, laser cut sleeves, pocket folders, etc. start at a higher price point of $3,000 and up.

• Custom invitations start at $3,000 for a 4-piece suite in 1-letterpress color. On average, our clients typically end up spending between $3,000 and $8,000 on custom invitations.

• For budgets in the $1,500 range, many of our designs can be adapted to a economical price point using flat printing.

Note: A 4-piece suite includes Invitation, Reply Card, Outer Envelope and Reply Envelope. However a suite can be customized to your needs. Most pre-existing designs you see, whether it be from our custom page or collection page, can be made into a ready to order set

Laser cut sleeves

We explored a few different designs for the laser cut sleeve, all incorporating lace motifs. A thorough look at different color palettes and combinations ensured that we looked at all possibilities, finding the very best of the best for our client’s design.

Monograms

We then presented the couple with a few different takes on a romantic monogram that included a wreath or border that framed the letters, a style that they favored during our consultations and discussions.

Design Extension

Once the look and feel were defined, we embarked on the process of extending the design to all the pieces in the invitation suite. For Valerie and Roy, this involved incorporating the beautiful lace motif we created throughout the enclosure cards, postage stamps and more.

After the design of the laser cut sleeve is completed, our team then ensures that the artwork is engineered for the laser cutting process. We make sure that every cutout has the proper bridges and support built into the design for it’s structural integrity.
